Co je Elicea a k čemu se užívá

Přípravek Elicea obsahuje escitalopram a používá se k léčbě deprese (depresivní epizody) a
úzkostných poruch (panická porucha s nebo bez agorafobie, sociální úzkostná porucha, generalizovaná
úzkostná porucha a obsedantně kompulzivní porucha).

Escitalopram patří do skupiny antidepresiv nazývaných selektivní inhibitory zpětného vychytávání
serotoninu (SSRI). Přípravky patřící do této skupiny ovlivňují serotoninový systém tím, že zvyšují
hladinu serotoninu v mozku. Poruchy serotoninového systému jsou klíčovým faktorem v rozvoji
deprese a souvisejících onemocnění.

Může trvat několik týdnů, než se začnete cítit lépe. Pokračujte v užívání přípravku Elicea, i když
potrvá nějakou dobu, než pocítíte zlepšení Vašeho zdravotního stavu.
Pokud se nebudete cítit lépe nebo pokud se Vám přitíží, musíte se poradit s lékařem.
