Co je Egilok a k čemu se užívá

Přípravek Egilok, lék obsahující léčivou látku metoprolol-tartrát, patří do skupiny léčiv známých jako beta-
blokátory. U lidí vede podávání přípravku Egilok k poklesu krevního tlaku, snížení tepové frekvence, ale
také ke snížení srdečního výdeje v klidu i po námaze.

Přípravek Egilok se používá k léčbě vysokého krevního tlaku k prevenci bolestí na hrudi při angině
pectoris. Přípravek Egilok se rovněž používá k udržovací léčbě pacientů po infarktu myokardu (srdečního
infarktu), k léčbě jistých poruch srdečního rytmu, k léčbě zrychleného srdečního tepu vyvolaného
nadměrně aktivní štítnou žlázou a k prevenci záchvatů migrény.
