Food interactions and other recommendationsCordarone: Grapefruit and grapefruit juice should be avoided throughout treatment. Grapefruit can significantly increase serum levels of this product. Take without regard to meals.
Xarelto: Food should be taken with the 15 mg and 20 mg tablet. Food increases the bioavailability of the 20 mg dose. Foods with antiplatelet/anticoagulants properties such as horseradish, gingko, ginger, garlic, feverfew St. John's Wort is a CYP3A4 inducer and will decrease levels of rivaroxaban
Acylpyrin: Avoid alcohol, alcohol appears to cause a 50 to 100% increases in ASA serum levels. Take with a full glass of water. Take with food to reduce gastric irritation.
