Co je Trexan a k čemu se užívá

Léčivou látkou přípravku Trexan je methotrexát, antimetabolit a imunosupresivum (léčivo, které
ovlivňuje dělení buněk v organizmu a snižuje aktivitu imunitního systému).

Trexan se používá k léčbě:
- aktivní revmatoidní artritidy u dospělých pacientů,
- závažné odolné, invalidizující lupénky (psoriáza), která dostatečně nereaguje na jiné formy léčby,
jako je fototerapie, PUVA a retinoidy,
- závažné psoriatické artritidy u dospělých pacientů.
